Summary:
Join our team in Pyecombe as a Production Operative, where you'll be an integral part of making seriously awesome furniture. We're looking for someone with good time management and teamwork skills, passionate about woodworking. No prior experience is necessary as we'll provide comprehensive training in the various woodworking techniques and the operation of tools and machinery needed for this role.
Responsibilities:
Being involved in all the woodworking steps of the process for each order. Some of these tasks include cutting, planing, sanding, staining / varnishing and assembling customer orders.
Learn and operate woodworking tools and machinery under the guidance of experienced team members.
Quality checking and packing individual orders.
Collaborating with the production team to maintain an efficient workflow.
Skills & Qualifications:
Strong time management skills, focusing on health & safety, effective task prioritisation and workflow optimisation.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Enthusiasm for learning and a fast learner.
No prior experience required. Comprehensive training will be provided.
