Finishes
All tables are finished using water-based, eco-friendly finishes designed for outdoor use. The surface is waterproof, stain resistant, and heat resistant, making it easy to clean and maintain.
The finish is built to handle outdoor conditions and regular use. Spills, food, and general mess can be wiped away easily with a damp cloth, making it a practical choice for garden dining and everyday use.
You can choose from our standard finishes or get in touch if you’d like a custom colour.
Timber Characteristics
We work with real, solid timber. Every table will feature unique grain patterns and may have natural characteristics such as knots, variations in colour, sap pockets, and minor splits. These features are a normal part of solid wood and do not affect the table’s strength or structural integrity.
Solid wood naturally responds to its environment and may move slightly over time as humidity changes. This is expected and accounted for in the way our outdoor furniture is designed and built. The tabletop is constructed with small gaps between each plank to allow rainwater to drain through.
Like all outdoor furniture, the better care you take of your table, the longer it will last. While the finish is weather resistant, we recommend using a cover if the table is left unused for extended periods or during winter months, especially in areas with heavy rain or snow. Applying a clear coat once a year will help keep the surface sealed and the wood looking fresh.
