Crafted from high-quality and sustainably grown timber, sourced from our local sawmill, this rustic desk is built to last. The wood is kiln-dried, eliminating any movement, warping, or splitting that may occur with lesser quality types of wood, ensuring your studio desk will last for years to come.
Every desk is made to measure which guarantees that the desktop height, floor-to-desk clearance, and synth tray height are perfectly suited for your needs and equipment. If the standard options on the drop-down menu don't cover your requirements, please get in touch, and we'll create a custom option for you.
Choosing measurements
When deciding the size of your studio desk, it’s important to know the dimensions of the keyboard / piano / synthesiser you are planning to use with it. For the width of the desk, we recommend at least 12cm wider than the width of your keyboard. Please include the keyboard dimensions (Width x Depth x Height) in the notes section below so we can make the desk to measure.
Choosing Legs
The height of the legs will be a very important factor to the final height of your desk. There is always a small compromise when it comes to height measurements for studio desks. 71cm height is the standard height for desk legs. This will provide a comfortable amount of leg room and a very comfortable height for playing the keyboard / synth. However, it also means that that the desktop where the typing keyboard and screen monitor are, will also be increased to a higher than standard height. The alternative is lower height or adjustable height legs.
The lower legs will provide slightly less leg room but will also bring the desktop level to a more comfortable height for typing and screen monitor. The choice depends on how you would like to you use your studio desk.
