Great quality furniture and fair wages for everyone in our supply chain and our team is our top priority so all of the materials we use for our furniture are sustainably sourced and locally produced.
All of our wooden corner shelves are made to order, cut, sanded and finished by hand. Each one is unique, with slight variations in grain patterns that add to its character. Every shelf is about 3cm thick, with two 22cm sides and a front edge around 31cm long. If you need a different size, just let us know and we’ll make it to your measurements.
Our shelves are solid and made from joinery-grade solid wood that’s both sustainable and durable. Each board is cut to size, hand-sanded several times for a smooth surface, and finished with a colour from our range. The finishes we use are water-based, non-toxic and hypoallergenic, sealing the wood with a waterproof, stain-resistant layer that’s easy to clean and maintain. Custom finishes are also available on request.
The prices shown are for a single shelf and include heavy-duty industrial or floating brackets, which you can select from the dropdown menu. Multi-wall plugs and screws are also included.
Wood characteristics:
Wood is a natural material that breathes and responds to its environment. It may show knots, grain variations, and colour differences. Kiln drying reduces warping and splitting, but wood can still move slightly based on humidity and temperature changes. Our products are designed and crafted with care to allow for this natural movement.
Imperfections in solid wood such as knots, small divots or tiny cracks reveal its history. These natural variations enhance the uniqueness of each piece, ensuring your shelf is truly one of a kind, while maintaining full functionality and structural integrity.
