Our all wooden dining table and bench range is the most complete expression of what we do at Pastos & Co. It reflects the materials we love working with, the way we want furniture in our own homes, and what excites us most to make.

Each piece is made entirely from sustainably sourced, slow grown timber, bought locally from our sawmill. That includes the legs and the structure. Everything is built by hand from start to finish in our workshop. There are no mixed materials, no secondary components. What you see is the table, exactly as it was made by our small team, celebrating natural solid rustic wood.

Every design decision is about how it feels to live with. The weight and stability when you lean on it, the space around your legs, how the surfaces hold up to daily use, and how the wood will change and deepen over time. It’s calm, grounded furniture meant to be used, not tiptoed around. It’s made to age beautifully rather than wear out.

This is our crème de la crème. The most refined dining table and bench range we currently make, shaped by years of experience and a clear idea of what we want our furniture to be in people’s homes for the long run.

Our dining set includes a solid wood table with the option of one or two matching benches. Each piece is made by hand from natural timber and finished to keep the surface smooth while retaining the character and grain of the wood.

The table and benches are made from FSC-certified, slow grown solid timber and finished for heavy daily use, not just for appearance. The surface is sealed to handle spills, stains, and hot plates with ease, while still allowing the wood to age and develop character over time.

If you’d like the benches to tuck under the table when not in use, just leave us a note with your order and we’ll make them slightly narrower. There’s no need to leave a note if you’d prefer the benches to be the same length as the table.

If the size or finish you’re looking for isn’t listed in the dropdown, feel free to get in touch and we can make the table to your exact measurements. For reference, the table shown in the photos is the Large Slim size at 200x66cm, made with one matching bench and finished in our rosewood finish.

Wood characteristics:
Solid wood changes over time. Knots, grain variation, colour differences, and small marks from the timber’s previous life are all part of the material and make each piece unique. Seasonal movement can cause minor changes such as slight cupping or hairline splits, which are normal with natural timber.

These characteristics do not affect the strength or everyday use of the table. They’re part of what gives each piece its individuality, ensuring no two tables are ever exactly the same.
