The All Wooden Dining Table: Built to Be Lived With

Posted by Johnny Pastos on

Some pieces take longer to arrive than others. Not because they’re complicated, but because they need space to settle into what they’re meant to be.

Our all wooden table dining table is one of those pieces.

Find out more about the All Wooden Table

Over the years, we’ve made a lot of dining tables. Through that process, certain ideas kept coming back to us again and again: solid timber throughout, no mixed materials, no screw on steel legs, and a structure that feels grounded the moment you lean on it. This table grew out of those ideas, refined slowly until nothing felt unnecessary and nothing felt unresolved.

The table and benches are made entirely from sustainably sourced, slow grown solid timber, including the legs and supporting structure. Everything is built by hand in our workshop, with a focus on how the piece feels in daily life. The weight, the stance, the leg room, and the surface all matter when a table is used every day, not just admired from a distance.

The surface is finished for heavy daily use. It’s sealed to handle spills, stains, and heat without becoming precious or fragile, while still allowing the wood to age gently and naturally over time. Knots, grain variation, and other small marks from the timber’s natural character are all part of the material, and they’re left as part of the rustic nature of the piece. Each table carries its own character, and no two ever come out the same.

The benches are designed to work as part of the set, with the option to be made slightly smaller so they can slide neatly under the table when not in use to keep the space feeling open. Whether it’s placed in a compact kitchen or a larger dining room, the proportions are calm and considered, built to sit comfortably in a home rather than dominate it.

This table isn’t about making a statement. It’s about creating something that feels right to live with year after year. A solid wood dining table that earns its place through use, not trends.
